I took the kids to the Kent County 4-H Fair for the very first time last year. Afterwards, we raved to my husband about what a great time we had, and how it's so unlike any other fair we've attended. I was excited to show him this past Friday night. We picked that evening because we were eager to see the greased pig contest that we missed last year (and yes, further down, that's my girl in the blue dress chasing the pig!)
It didn't take my hubby long to get it. He saw what we experienced at last year's fair. In his words, the Kent County Fair is like a large neighborhood picnic. In addition to the fun entertainment and food, everyone is so friendly, inviting, and they all seem to know each other. It makes my heart happy that The Kent County Fair is now on our annual summer must-do and -see list.
Now that we're in Rock Hall full time, I'm excited about the adventures we have ahead of us as we take in everything that beautiful Kent County has to offer. There will be so many stories and, of course, plenty of pictures. Click here to follow along.
