Not too long ago, I shared some fun ways to display family pictures from a recent boating photo session on the Chesapeake Bay. If you missed those two blog posts, you really should take a minute to check them out by clicking the blue hyperlinked text. I said "should" because there are few things I'm more excited about than preserving your family's summer traditions, and then in turn displaying them on your walls to enjoy everyday. Please, click the links and see for yourself. I'll wait.
That session you just viewed took place last Labor Day weekend. It's a time when families come together to enjoy the extended weekend, and say farewell to summer. In this couple's case, one of their adult daughters was visiting with her family, like they often do throughout the summer. I documented them enjoying their gorgeous sunset cruise with their children and grandchildren.
Fast forward to this past Memorial Day weekend when their other daughter and her family was visiting. As we began the 2016 summer season, I happily came along for a ride and photographed their summer sailing tradition. Their slideshow of images is below.
